Rebels for America is an organization created to deal with the disconnection between what America was meant to be and what it has become. We stand up for the original idea and fight against those that seek to make America a place for the few. To that end here are a few our guiding thoughts: |  |
- Equal Justice, for all citizens, must become a foundation for our republic. Federal laws will re-evaluate and the execution of the laws must be closely monitored to ensure that every citizen is given an honest and open opportunity to pursue their dreams and they will be treated equally within our legal systems. Regardless of whether a person is white or black, rich or poor, Christian or other, and straight or gay, they are citizens of the Nations and will be treated as such.
- Our current tax systems is outdated and bias. It must be re-written to be straight forward and simple. It must be re-written to be fair to the average working people. It must be re-written to require more from the wealthy and big business. All loop-holes must be eliminated.
- Our elected official our out of touch with the real world because most spend their entire adult life’s in the artificial world of Washington. It was not the intentions of our founding fathers for our elected officials to become detached from the citizenry. Therefore those elected to Congress will be subject to a term limit just like the President.
- Members of the Supreme Court must also be subject to term limit.
- There is too much integration between the federal government and big business. Therefore no law will be implemented that favors one industry, technology or capability over another. All laws must be focused on the best interest of the people.
- The well being of the planet is not a side item. When it is proven that an industry or activity has caused harm to the environment it must be dealt with immediately and without concern of how it affects the businesses that have profited from the destruction.
- Foreign involvement in necessary in today’s inter-connected world. However we cannot expect the world to respect us if everything we do is for our own interest. Additionally, we must start spending more resources here at home - our own problems need the time and money we spend oversees.
- Education, medicine and food, critical elements for a healthy republic, have been used by our current structure to devide and conquer. That stops now. Our government and society is strong enough and wealthy enought o make sure that these elements do not stand in the way of any person as they pursue the opportunities of life. We must enact new laws and mandates that ensure these critical elements are available for all. Period.
These are just a few of the ideas, thoughts and beliefs we at RFA stand behind. We are fine tuning these concepts and we will be creating more. Our goal is to make things right for all.
